Egg Zeppelin is a 2-person, long-form improvisational comedy show. From audience suggestions, the Canadian-Comedy Award nominated comedy duo of Kris Siddiqi (Second City) and Marcel St. Pierre (Bad Dog Theatre Company) create a spontaneous hour in the lives of Dude and Man, the owner-operators of a dilapidated greasy spoon in a non-specific, small town halfway between ‘here’ and ‘there’. Every installment features a special musical guest and BACON cooked live on stage!
The Dirty Dishes http://www.dirty-dishes.ca/ are a Toronto based Country / Bluegrass / Gospel music band. Lisa Olafson, Suzie McKenney and Alison Porter combine an amazing three part harmony to sing old time songs and own compositions.
Imagine the Andrews Sisters and The Stanley Brothers have triplets. The result would be none other than these sharp-witted ladies with a 1950’s Nashville sound and killer charm. Bringing a shine to every space they fill with their beautiful blend of country-bluegrass-gospel sounds and extraordinary energy, the Dishes have spent the last five years (often backed by their rhythm section “The Plate Rails”) breaking hearts and soothing souls at clubs, fairs, festivals and events throughout Canada.
